We are a full service campground catering to families. We have a laundry, c-store, 360' waterslide (fee), heated pool, firewood and ice. We are centrally located in the pine covered area of the Southern Black Hills
of South Dakota. We can accommodate the largest RV's to the smallest tent.

Hidden Valley is an ideal place for family vacations, honeymoons, a weekend get-away, school groups, clubs, or a family reunion. The campground provides a basketball court, horseshoes, game room, playground, and volleyball area. Basketballs and volleyballs are available. Mother Nature provides a gentle creek, cool evenings and very few mosquitoes. The 55 sites will accommodate tents to RVs. Hook-up sites have 30-amp service. The dump station is easily accessible. Seven sleeping cabins available also. All of the sites have a fire barrel and a picnic table. Some of the sites have patios. The small game room has arcade games and a pool table. The laundry has three washers and three dryers and is coin-operated. A sink for those who don't want to heat water at the site is available for washing dishes. A covered patio area next to the game/laundry room is available for our guests' use. A gas grill can be rented for a small fee.

The Steel Wheel Campground & Trading Post is a 12 acre facility that was completed in August of 2005. We are located
on US Hwy 385 just 6 miles south of the historical town of Deadwood, SD. Planted in the heart of the Black Hills at approx.  5,300 ft., we are only but a short distance from several great land marks, such as the Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse monuments. Our campground offers many tent sites as well as a large variety of 50 amp full hookups for any size rig. While staying with us you can enjoy many opportunities to explore the surrounding area with several
near by lakes, streams and hiking paths. There are also countless trails nearby for those individuals and families that are interested in discovering the Black Hills on either 4-wheelers or dirt bikes, which can be rented and delivered to your site. And, since we are located on Snowmobile trail # 7W, the Trading Post also makes for a make
an excellent departure and destination point in the winter. The Steel Wheel Trading Post is also a Mobil filling 
station, allowing for a convenient place to stop and top off with quality gas or diesel.
